Open to Everyone
Public Trap Shooting
The Berthoud Gun Club features 2 Shotgun Trap Houses open to the public. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to come out and shoot during regular club hours. There is no pistol or rifle range — this is a dedicated shotgun trap facility.
Compete
Thursday Night Leagues
Competitive trap leagues shoot every Thursday evening, with five seasons per year: Early Spring, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Leagues are limited to 14 teams and fill up fast — priority goes to returning teams.

ATA Registered
Registered Shoots
Berthoud Trap Club hosts multiple Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) registered shoots throughout the year, including a two-day Shooter Appreciation event in October. Shooters can sign up in advance via presquad.com.

Women Welcome
Women's Trap Fun Shoot
A monthly trap shooting event designed for women of all skill levels in a fun, friendly, and non-competitive atmosphere. Held on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 12 PM, starting March 2026.

Youth Program
4-H Sharp Shooters
Sharp Shooters is a Boulder County 4-H shooting club for youth ages 8–18 that meets and practices at the Berthoud Gun Club. Club meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 PM in the Clubhouse.
Shooting Disciplines
Boulder County Fair Shooting events are held annually in July at the Berthoud Gun Club.
